At last year’s trade fair Sensor in Nuremberg, we presented a new product together with Acal BFi from Germany – a noise measurement device compliant with SIST ISO 1996-2:2017.
The sensor has been upgraded by our own development work so that it fully meets the requirements of the above-mentioned regulation. Users (e.g. municipalities) who prepare annual reports on the measurement of environmental parameters are often confused as to what periodic disturbances in noise parameters represent. The new version of the sensor records all readings that deviate from the average. Analysts can listen to the recordings and easily identify them as barking dogs, ringing bells, various alarms, train noise, etc. In this way, the measured noise level data is much more accurate and the deviations are explained. This also enables communities to take appropriate noise abatement measures.
The sensor can be operated stand-alone and independent of other noise measurement systems or integrated into another measurement device.
